Waste management and recovery
We collect and sort our waste to promote the recycling of different materials and limit our carbon footprint.
We have set up a composting facility near the kitchens to process food waste and create compost for later use in our garden.
Our trees and shrubs are carefully tended to prevent soil erosion, promote air pollution control and also serve as shelter for the various species of birds living in Le Castellet.
Buildings
All renovations undertaken at the Grand Prix Hotel & Restaurant 3* are carried out with environmental impact in mind.
Social responsibility
Anxious to play a role in the community, our teams get involved each year with a variety of associations, helping to organise and run a range of activities:
- Producing sweet buffets for blood donation sessions organised in Le Castellet and elsewhere in the region.
- Collecting plastic water bottle caps which are then entrusted to the "Bouchons d'amour" association to be recycled into medical equipment.
- Making donations to social action associations (blankets, bathrobes, etc.)
